Hi, I’m Christian — founder of Unison.Labs

Since childhood, I’ve had an innovator’s mindset — generating ideas, challenging the status quo, building bridges between worlds that rarely connect and make ideas come alive.

12 years ago, I was among the first to build startup programs in the energy sector. Since then, I’ve helped shape the renewable energy and climate tech ecosystem through various initiatives. I’ve seen first-hand what it takes to innovate, build companies, lead people and drive transformation under pressure.

I co-founded the Startup Energy Transition Tech Festival, served as CMO at node.energy, built the innogy Innovation Hub in Berlin and supported founders as a coach, investor and advisor to accelerators and innovation programs worldwide.

After years of working at high pace, I began to notice a recurring pattern — in myself and in many of the leaders around me. Ambitious founders and executives were running faster than ever, yet losing clarity, energy and connection in the process. Success came with a cost: stress, fragmentation, restructuring and bad decisions made from reactivity rather than vision led to failure.

That realisation led me to explore the human side of leadership — neuroscience, psychology and wellbeing — and to integrate these insights with my entrepreneurial experience.

The result is an integrated approach that begins with self-leadership and expands into the science and skill of building thriving teams capable of creating the innovations of tomorrow.
